To qualify for the Italy Investor Visa Program, the main applicant must:
• Be a non-EU / non-EEA national and at least 18 years of age
• Not hold citizenship from restricted countries (e.g., Russia, Belarus)
• Have a clean criminal record from all countries of residence over the past 10 years
• Prove the legal origin and transferability of non-leveraged investment funds
• Demonstrate annual personal income of at least €8,500 from the preceding fiscal year
• Secure comprehensive private health insurance coverage in Italy
• Provide all required supporting documentation
The following family members may be included in the application:
• Spouse or legally recognized civil partner
• Dependent children under 18 years of age
• Physically or mentally challenged dependent children of any age
• Dependent parents aged 65 years or older
• Dependent parents under 65 years old (provided no other children are living in the country of origin to support them)

Step 2 – Online Application & Pre-Approval
Submission of the Nulla Osta application via the MIMIT digital portal for official pre-approval.
Step 3 – Visa Application & Processing
Upon receiving the Nulla Osta, submitting the D-Visa application at the local Italian Consulate.
Step 4 – Travel & Residence Permit Filing
Traveling to Italy on the D-Visa, filing the official residence permit (Permesso di Soggiorno) application, and paying local admin fees.
Step 5 – Capital Deployment
Transferring the full qualifying investment funds to the target entity, bond, or donation project within the mandatory timeframe.
Step 6 – Biometrics & Permit Issuance
